I had the pleasure of shooting the wonderful lads and girls from Hillbrook as they embarked upon their semi-formal aboard the Kookaburra Queen. Without sounding like my grandparents, it struck me how teenagers today have grown up with instant digital photography. Most of these young adults were adept at posing and getting the best look from a camera, without having to be told. Back in my day you’d have to spend hours in front of the mirror perfecting blue-steel or magnum before shooting a roll of film. Now you can take 16GB of photos and get that perfect look.
